GU Bulgarian Society is established to unify all Bulgarian students in Glasgow and give the chance to our non-Bulgarian friends to meet and enjoy Bulgarian culture and traditions. GUBS's aim is to serve as a connection between students at Glasgow University and students from other universities in the United Kingdom.

The location is Boyd Orr, one of the lecture theatres on the 4th, 5th or 6th floor.

Our next social event will be this Thursday (21.10). We have reserved the Basement Bar on 191 Byres Road (across the street from Bank of Scotland) from 7.30 p.m. The evening will start with voting for the best logo proposal in our competition. The winner will receive a prize and will be given an honorable seat in our committee.
Then, we will discuss if any of you have interest in ordering a GUBS hoodie or t-shirt.
After that, depending on your preferences, we may stay and drink in the Basement, move to The Loft or any other place you like.

Glasgow University Bulgarian Society is looking for a new logo and we were hoping that our member could help us out with this difficult task. The author of the logo that best reflects the idea of our society will naturally be entitled to a surprise. The deadline for submitting your ideas is the 15th of October. The 3 best ideas will be presented at a general meeting, when all members will vote for the new GUBS logo. Good luck!
